The last training with misa-tanzania



The last day of the training is very amazing day to me, and i feel particularly grateful to  be among of those participants of the training as Tutor. learned very interesting things with the training since the fist time of the training , how to create blog,how to post pictures within  blogs, how to use different information from other sources without being charges form violating somebody’s copy rights. 

even knew how  to cite the information within my blog.i archived a lot from this training,now my blog is running and this is best beginning with  this new age of digital.

as trainer from the academic institution which is  planning to introduce the new  course of online journalism am really sure to be a great assistance within the college that am working for. 

I believes some years to come this idea of given training to journalism tutors and news editor would be aids to journalism professional to grow well and being  accepted by society in general, I am really perfect met my expectation  within this five days of the training.

Chinese investment has played a significant role in Africa in terms of economic growth and job creation, and it has the potential to play an even bigger role in the near future, China and most of Africa countries have historically long term relationship.
According to China-Africa Cooperation report, China pledged up to $20 billion to African countries over the next three years. China has proposed or committed about $101 billion to commercial projects in Africa since 2010.

The investment of china in Africa is estimated to reach more than 200 US dollar billion and more than millions jobs is said to be created in Africa. China has invested more in mining se construction. This support leads the china economy to become strongest economy in world.

The Chinese have helped decrease the unemployment rate in natural resource-related programs and other related programmes such mining projects, construction programmes, agriculture project, small- and medium-sized business. Almost of African leaders said to be benefited by Chinese support, the they claim to western countries to pursuing china as neo colonial investor.

Due to lack of enough human resources, limited facilities even fund it impossible to the large numbers of African countries to monitor all investment and resources within the nation and this perceived by western nations that that China is dumping its cheap products on African markets, forcing Africans out of business, as they cannot afford to sell goods at the prices listed by Chinese sellers.

The training basically is about how to use web tools with Google search engine, such as search for pictures, location searching, I gained many skills from the lesson.
 I knew how to search for simple facts with key words application. Lesson let me to understand how to change languages with advanced search tool with Google search engine. This time I can find and search very easier facts from internet.

Loans and grants from rich countries much affect Africa countries





Dambisa Moyo in her book Dead Aid is trying to explain how most African countries could be affected by just depend on the aids from European countries and other rich countries in the world. The book is explain the inner intention of western aidprogrammes in Africa toward the development, the assistance given by rich countries in reality is results to slower down Africa domestics investments. 
The book also point out how much the dependent being affects government economic planning and decision making to resources allocation. She recommended that since Africa countries are just recipients of different helps from western countries they are never escape from being poorer, and their problems seemingly to never ending cycle. in her book she suggest to African  to plan for their investments to implement their government policy and even coping economic planning system from other developed nations such as China, Ghana. The writer even cites how much external debts within the nations pressure corruption to most of African leader he mention out the late Zaire’s president  Mabutu sese seko to have stolen about 5billion US  dollar from his country.Through her book, Dambisa Moyo suggests alternative solution to African countries; she recommends that Africa should have their own sources of funding their countries for their problems solution.

Third day of the training with misa-tan


The third day of the training was about continuity of the second day of the training ,the additional was how journalist would accessing internet to improve their works in journalism practices.I learned a lot of things  from last  training  such as how do search engines can assist  facts finding ,even I understood what to do first before think about the  information searching.

From that training I knew the important of linking your blog with other sites.The  the practical assignments I did last time improve my awareness  concern blog creating, I did simple assignments such search for Ghana population,used official sites to search for facts.

Digital age threats traditional journalism in America





The trend of flow of the information is expected to be affected by new arise the technology that is digital way of accessing the information through internet rely, and this would threat growth of print media, emerging of digital age media expand abilities of access news from different site at same time,

This was addressing by Rupert Murdoch from his speech to news paper editors in American society, he instead and alarming that traditional way of reporting should observed challenges brought by this digital age.

He add that, young people are the ones who mostly accessing news from internet portals in America and this some how it will decrease the demand of the news papers as well as  gradually lost circulation

Self introduction




am  maurice manda,mass Communication graduate from St.Augustine University  majored in Public Relations course.

Currently am working with Royal College of Tanzania as Tutor in position, serve as real media  professional before joined RCT i have been worked with mtanzania newspaper as  journalist and acquired much experience on how media operating.

This time am  attending five days-training organized by misa-tan.The training basically organized with the intention of make awareness on the uses of internet to journalism tutors and editors, hopeful the training is great assistance to the journalism professional performance of my tasks in particularly in this time of digital journalism.
 It was well organized training with highly practical assignments that i believe to be more helpful to my work  performance.
